Pros

As a former market research analyst at Savvy Marketers, I can confidently say that my experience with this company has been nothing short of exceptional. From starting as an intern to transitioning to a full-time role over the course of two years. One of the standout pros of working at Savvy Marketers is the supportive environment encouraged by the company owner. Rather than just being an employer, she served as a mentor throughout my journey, providing invaluable guidance and encouragement every step of the way. Additionally, team members are empowered to share ideas and experiment with new approaches traditional market research. My time at Savvy Marketers was incredibly rewarding and fulfilling. I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of that family.

Cons

I have no cons to share.

Pros

Excellent experience. This job is a great starting point and given me so many skills that I've been able to use throughout my career.

Cons

Unpaid. It cost money to work here through commuting, meals, and participating in holiday parties.

Pros

Going forward, I truly believe you would not find a more difficult person to work for than her.

Cons

I would strongly discourage anyone from working here. The job itself was not the issue, the work was manageable. The biggest problem was the owner and the work environment that was created. There was little to no respect for employees’ time or personal lives. Although shifts were supposedly scheduled to end around 6 PM, it was common to be expected to stay until 9, 10, 11 PM, or even midnight with no notice and no real option to decline. Work life balance simply did not exist. Employees were not encouraged to be themselves or think independently, it often felt like the expectation was complete personal conformity rather than professionalism. One example that stood out was Labor Day. Our contracts stated we would have the holiday off, but the Friday before, we were informed we were expected to come in anyway, regardless of prior plans. Overall, the culture felt toxic, stressful, and deeply disrespectful to employees. I would recommend seriously considering other opportunities before accepting a position here.
