Pros
Because senior managers are so incompetent, one can get away with doing the bare minimum. It’s an easy life if you play the game.
Cons
Mediocre reward package. Awful culture. Serious lack of quality in senior leadership roles. Muddled strategic thinking. Buying offices, closing offices, hiring people, letting people go. Deteriorating client service. Don’t mention IT support. When I speak to my colleagues in different departments and locations I get a sense of frustration, despair and resignation. This clearly translates into a diminished client experience and, ultimately, both staff and clients leaving.
