Pros

5 star reviews are the mission. Every task and goal contributes to that; every employee contributes to it. As a concierge, every interaction is the best you can make it. To that end, employees and management are constant supporters and encouragers. Poor attitudes are short, rare, and quickly mitigated by feedback and encouragement. Cross training is relied on for guests to be served by anyone as soon as they arrive, with care and competence. This position is a multitasking role which touches every area of service, assisting advisors, administrative and facility support staff, and management. It's a family run business, with a professional and familial feel. Management loves through food throughout the year, with many employee breakfasts, lunches, and coffee all day every day. Open door management is the same as the cross-train aspect: all managers support you, encourage you, and address concerns immediately. Service director is hands on and equally available. They solicit innovative ideas and are always considering and implementing improvement measures.

Cons

Not the place for 'coasters' or those who need desk-job consistency. Very observant, adaptive and self-taught people will do well. A great deal of self-motivation and initiative are required. Genuine personal attention is absolutely essential (these are attributes rarely found in entry level employees).
