Pros
Overall, I enjoyed the teams I worked along side, with the exception of the first-line managers and DMs. I learned the basic psychology of sales, and how to give good customer service. Also, merchandizing and managerial skills were developed as well. The schedule was flexible for me as I am a student. Also, vacation time (PTO) was the only benefit I recieved there.
Cons
Very sales driven atmosphere, as most sales assoicate positions are, but no comission is offered nor any raises for consistingly meeting or surpassing established goals. I worked there for years and the highest raise incrument I recieved was twenty cents. District Managers are chronically degrading. First-line managers tend to have difficulty fulfilling the operations expressed by middle managers, and furthermore are disrespectful to their team members.
