Pros

- Excellent people work here. - As long as there are still good people at the company, there is a chance it can bounce back to it's former glory. - Certain roles and teams are worthwhile exploring, not all roles are made equal so please do your diligence during interview process.

Cons

- More political / theatrical than it is a workplace. Narrative on contributions trumps actual contributions. - Morale is pretty much zero across the board. - Business was driving in a certain direction for many years, A sudden change of course regarding headcount and RTO has shaken things up a lot. - There are barriers to progression which are challenging to overcome due to a rigid job leveling framework. - If you are a high performer and know what good looks like, it will be a difficult place to work. - Attempting to squeeze out more heads and reduce number of senior positions within the business.

Pros

Good quality products. Dedicated individual contributors, intelligent colleagues.

Cons

Living in a bubble. They still think they are in the 90s. The thinking is painstakingly slow. Senior management including VPs and senior VPs are extremely inbred in their thinking. They are all perfectly aligned in completely wrong direction. They do the bare minimum and some cannot even hold a decent intellectual conversation. There is a ton of favoritism and only yes men get promoted so everyone is ‘aligned’. If you want to do mundane level thinking and kill your creativity and innovative spirit join this company. It has gotten worse in the last few years. Those currently there are dying to leave but just hanging by the last thread just because the current market is so tight that there is nowhere to go. The senior execs are there for 15-20 years no because they are loyal but because they know they cannot find any other employer who would tolerate their slow thinking.
