Pros
Good range of large projects, with a legal team, supportive admin team and in-depth in-house training sessions on a range of topics.
Cons
You have to get on by yourself fast. Therefore, make sure the company understand your previous experience or lack thereof during the interview. - Make sure you have the right experience for their needs, as they are very busy and may not be able to deliver on the promised starter training. You definitely need to bring some practical construction accounting experience before starting an Assistant QS role. Also, if you are easily distracted and cannot start in the quiet very early morning, this company may not be for you, as the team have a lot of calls to make in the open plan office and sub-teams can get quite chatty.
