Pros

Free Parking, free wine sometimes, looks good on a resume

This company was awful to work for. I didn't realize how bad it was until I left and I am now treated how I should. It started off great, but even from the get go the work load was very heavy. Underpaid to say the least for the workload and what others were making. As time went on, we were lied to by the CEO that things were headed in the right direction. After the company being in service for over 10 years, I still would believe him when he would say these types of things. Before I knew it, my workload was so much, and although the CEO would say he appreciates us, if he really did, he would understand the workflow of each department and listen to the managers of each department. No accountability for what was at stake, or caring about employees' mental health. Lunch breaks not encouraged at all, which I think is very important to be productive and keep your employees happy. At the end of my employment here, I was gaslighted, treated like cr*p, and made out to be a failure for wrongdoings that I was not part of, but rather my team before was. I was left to pick up the pieces and BLAMED for many many things that I had no control over. I have NEVER been treated so poorly in my entire life by a company, and I STRONGLY encourage you to not work here. You will regret it. The workload is tremendous, and you are not compensated for it nor is it recognized. CEO is in over his head with this company, and will not listen to the awesome people that have worked here on recommendations to improve things.

Thank you for the candid feedback. I'm sorry you feel this way. I recall the facts differently and would be happy to have a discussion around the situation that lead to your exit. Regarding compensation - we benchmark against our peers annualy, which as a manager, is a process you participated in and well aware that we are not on the low-end of the scale. We encourage all team members to communicate when they feel they have too much work - and then we work to reprioritize to a manageable load. Key to this is honest two-way communication - meaning if your manager isn't aware of these feelings, then he/she can't address or resolve them. As for listening, while there is always room for improvement, we have listened to the awesome people who work(ed) here - in fact - a large number of your suggestions and recommendations to simplify and improve have been enacted across the company. I wish the situation was different and that you could have been part of implementing these changes. You were on the right path and wish you the best going forward.

Pros

Being an Systems Administrator at SDxCentral has been a great experience for me. You are put in a great position to problem solve and work with all of the departments.

Cons

You must assume several hats, but this is sort of a pro because you get to stick your fingers in many different areas of IT and administration.

Good pay, great coworkers, quick sales cycle.

Cons

Company is still finding its identity and leadership needs improvement. Theres no performance improvement plan if you mess up.
