We regret hearing about your negative experience, but are glad to see that SCAN’s mission to keep seniors healthy and independent continues to resonate with you and with other colleagues around the organization. We want to be clear in addressing the characterization of our leadership – there is no room for elitism or behaviors that undermine trust here at SCAN. Our leadership team is deeply involved in the day-to-day work of the organization and remains accessible, engaged, and committed to SCAN’s mission, working closely with frontline teams to ensure decisions reflect what’s best for our members.
As SCAN continues to grow and evolve, we’re always actively reviewing spending and resource allocation with financial stewardship in mind to ensure long-term scale and stability for our members and Rebels alike. Similarly, employment decisions are made carefully and with our members’ best interests in mind. And while growth isn’t without challenge, we remain committed to listening, learning, and improving, and with 91% of our Rebels (employees) saying that SCAN is a great place to work according to our Great Place to Work survey, we believe we’re headed in the right direction.
That said, we hear you and encourage all employees to share their feedback, whether through surveys, direct conversations, or other channels. Honest input is not only welcomed, but essential in helping us improve as we continue to grow and evolve as an organization, and no one should feel hesitant to make their voice heard. Please don’t hesitate to share your feedback with a member of the HR team at peoplerelations@scanhealthplan.com at any time.
