Pros

The company has summer Fridays.

Cons

Management is very against working from home, and HR does a very poor job of retaining talent putting lots of extra work on current employees plates without sufficient increase in salary.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your review. Summer Friday hours is just one example of the many benefits that we are proud to offer SCJ people. Our operations around the world offer a variety of programs to support the varying needs of SCJ people – not only in their work, but also in their lives outside of the office. Expanded benefits that help employees stay healthy, flexible schedule options that help employees manage personal and work responsibilities, and workplace leadership opportunities are just a few additional examples. As it relates to working from home, we strongly believe SCJ people are able to achieve their best when they can collaborate and work together in person. We recognize this may not be the preference of some and appreciate that may be the case, but we are committed to maintaining our unique culture by attracting and retaining SCJ people who are aligned with our common values and purpose of working for a better world. Please also know that our Total Rewards team consistently benchmarks our salary and benefits packages to ensure we’re aligned with markets and industry trends.

Pros

You will not be bothered by people talking to you, benefits seem okay.

Cons

Don’t expect to be trained on anything. Management will expect you to figure things out on your own, request your own accesses and figure out what you need without any guidance. They’ll send people to you for questions on how to do stuff within your first couple days, not having taught you how to do those things.
