Pros

Big projects and clients in their repertoire perfect for bulking up your portfolio, but at what cost?

Cons

The perfect place for undervalued copywriters and project managers. Just imagine handling not one, not three, but five awarded ongoing projects in a week every week with deadlines in the same week. Obviously, no proper project management there but to top it all off, you are expected to manage and finish projects on a senior level with a junior position salary. Senior leads with no direction say it's training, but in reality..its exploitation. Delayed payrolls are expected and normalized which is unacceptable since the finance and hr deparment are not under manned so what's the excuse? Project deadlines must be met on time but salaries don't? Make it make sense. When you think resignation is the answer..it is, but the HR will give you the hardest time to get your quitclaim documents and final pay. Even involving dole in your email doesn't scare them.

Pros

As a writer intern you will have the chance to work with different brands and businesses. You will be able to hone your skills in copywriting, content strategy, and scriptwriting. In the creatives department of an events company, you will not only be on your desk, which is a plus to me. There are a lot of chances to go to different events and learn. My mentors were also very hands-on and friendly, including us, interns, even on company office events. They make the working environment comfortable and fun.

Cons

Sometimes it can be a slow day depending on the events that the team has. But overall, this has been such a great learning experience. I recommend this!
