Pros

Petting dogs, cool coworkers with humor

Cons

Low on supplies half the time. Way too many dogs have been brought into the playroom with a third attendant having to be involved. No shade during the heat so the dogs become more playful inside where it's cool than out. The pool doesn't always help. When there's already a high number of energetic dogs in the playroom, staff will bring in more that rules everyone up and makes the arrival dog extremely nervous but they're brought in anyways and the dog either gets harassed by multiple dogs or snaps and a fight breaks out. Half the time they leave the distressed dog in leaving attendants to deal with it. Understaffing is a serious issue. Multiple times where it's almost 7 and cleaning isn't even halfway done. Employees are called out early because of "overstaffing" which puts everyone behind. Not enough people to help clean near the end of the day especially if there's been one attendant in each room.

Pros

Animals were mostly great, you could bond with them since there were so many regulars. Most coworkers were fun to work with.

Cons

Low pay, management/corporate allowed for animals who were too aggressive to stay despite multiple reports of them being unsafe, I would walk over 100 dogs by myself regularly early in the morning. Because of low pay, not enough staff and heavy workload, tasks would be haphazardly done (including cleaning, feeding, medicating, walking dogs, etc.) HEAVY turn over from the ground up.
