Terrible company - Route Sales Representative Rolling Frito-Lay Sales Employee Review

Pros

Pay is occasionally decent, but it's almost impossible to get decent pay anymore.

Cons

They take away all of your control for the factors that influence your pay, yet give you all of the consequences of their actions. They expect you to work yourself beyond the point of injury and that is still not good enough. They do not follow their own values. They can not be reasoned with. Everything is your fault and if you react to anything you get told that you are just being negative. They do not view you as a human being, but more like a piece of equipment that they intend to break down and replace. No work/life balance. Management thinks highly of themselves but most of them are clueless and do not live in reality. Toxic culture. Somehow they keep managing to make you work harder for less money. Nothing benefits you, only them.

Pros

Networking, exciting culture to meet and exceed competitive goals. Level up via seniority. Possible mentorship program available traveling out of state assisting other Branches.

Cons

Inconsistent business practices, high OT demand (if you want to succeed) Unobtainable numbers to hit, arbitrarily increase #'s despite the business unit showing negative growth nationally. The pay is based on participation trophies not hard work. Routes are not equal and your coworker is a member of cut throat island as well as potentially your supervisor. Always watch your back, do not share your private life/family information. It will be used against you.
