Pros

Good starter job for a person getting into IT. Work was relatively easy. The coworkers (in my department at least) were nice and a pleasure to work with.

Cons

Improvement for the product the company sells falls on deaf ears, The website design and layout looks and feels like it was made in the early 2000s. Most of the calls our department receives are from customers confused on how to navigate our website.

Pros

Small team, everyone knows what they are doing and have the same mindset

Cons

Hybrid, which could also work if that’s what you like to work

Pros

You do gain exposure to real 24/7 live-ops pressure; you’ll get faster at triage and at turning technical fixes into plain English, If you’re looking to build nerves of steel, this environment will provide it

Cons

Leadership was sloppy; under-engaged in skills development beyond the bare minimum; team treated like interns who should be “grateful”. No KPIs; no clear success criteria; priorities pinballed by the loudest voice. Change management was weak; projects launched without scoped requirements; dependencies ignored; postmortems rare; lessons untracked. Day-to-day felt like water buckets multiplying; no conductor Training was cookie-cutter; professional development was cookie-cutter; recognition was cookie-cutter. Culture felt stuck in the 1950s; rather than respect; the message was “fit the mold” first; belong later. Documentation varied by shift; surge staffing thin; burnout predictable; policy/process improvement proposals dismissed at the door; optics over operations Management: Reactive; vague goals; inconsistent accountability; poor follow-through on coaching; status theater over substance; inclusion and accommodations were handled to meet requirements; effort and thoughtfulness fell short
