Pros
Amazing, smart people who work here. The org is small but mighty and has a great reputation within the public health space. Despite the smaller size there is a strong impact and great connections to be made both internally and externally.
The benefits are also incredible -- 6 weeks off per year total, wfh stipend, good healthcare, and very strong salary above average for nonprofit sector
Funding is strong and reliable due to private foundations and relationships that sr staff have, so there are not issues related to staff cuts/constant biz development etc
Cons
The fact that the job is fully remote means there is little to no culture.
While I had a great experience with my team and mangers, some other teams can be toxic and it just depends on who you are working with. The fast pace of the work can be very stressful and demanding. If you aren't able to keep up it is seen as a sign of weakness
