      Pros

      Large network of hospitals. Great teamwork. Trauma 1 designation. Serves the low income community. Lots of experience opportunities. Educational and skills advancement.

      Cons

      Very outdated charming system. Old broken equipment. Not a Magnet. No nurse to patient ratio guidelines. Management seems oblivious to the day to day needs of the facility. Doctors don't act like part of the team. Unfortunately, wealthy caucasian patients get the best medical care, and are treated with exception by the administrators.

      -Supportive management -Good communication from senior leadership -Continuous improvement happening here! -Nursing union ensures guaranteed raises -Parking garage -Employees and their families come here for their own care

      Staffing and retention are challenging, especially on inpatient units, but I think this is changing for the better
