Pros
The people at Remedy, as people, are probably the only good thing about it. Almost everyone is extremely nice and genuinely cares for one another (or pretends to). I also hear the maternity leave policy is very good, but I have no use for that, personally.
Cons
If your job description says no micromanagement--its a flat lie. Employees at Remedy are extraordinarily micromanaged, especially on certain teams where the VPs have their hands in every little thing. No one is given the reign or trust to get their jobs done and there is very little adequate training. You are expected to know and understand every little facet of how the business operates with basically no direction and having to teach yourself. The benefits here are also inadequate. Healthcare got a tiny bit cheaper for the 2021 year, but there's no 401k match and the eye care plan is terrible. Company refused to take a public stance on diversity in the workplace and still has yet to take direct action internally, despite making a lot of false promises to do so over the last 4 months. CEO loves the crocodile tears. Very fake all around. Turnover is extremely high and the company is so small that people are probably afraid of being doxxed by sharing their reviews here, which is why there is such a gap in the dates of posted reviews. The company has changed a lot in that time and it's not a good place to be. Everyone I know is browsing the job boards while working pretty much every day. Do not recommend.
