Pros

I worked at Real Time for almost 5 years, and only left recently due to moving abroad. During my time there I was given considerable training and investment into my personal and professional development. I was able to gain promotion from senior delivery consultant, to team lead and ultimately delivery manager. What tells real time apart from other agencies is the respect that delivery command within the business whilst working in a market where finding the candidates can be the tougher part of the job. They also focus on retaining quality clients with fillable jobs, meaning there is considerable earning potential. There is a wealth of experience across the management team paired with a level of autonomy. The culture is second to none with a good work life balance, joining Real Time would mean joining passionate and capable colleagues to learn from and call friends.

Cons

The database can get some getting used to initially but it is packed with relevant and recent candidates! As with most recruitment roles, the peaks far outweigh any of the troughs.

Thank you so much for your feedback! It’s a pleasure to work with individuals who have a passion for the job they do and have a genuine interest in ensuring that the candidate journey is the best it can be, particularly in a crowded and very competitive market. In fact, the reason we set about separating the sales activity from the candidate resourcing was to ensure that each team could focus their skills and knowledge in niche areas and deliver consistently good results. With regards to which team (sales or delivery) is more important than the other, the answer is that they both need each other in order to develop and grow the business and as a result they both receive the same level of attention and recognition within the business. Progression is really important to us too. We pride ourselves on giving our team tangible goals and milestones, as well as a clear career path to aim for. We are always open to new ways of working regarding our database. There is a wealth of information on there and we try to ensure that we use it to its full potential. There’s regular training and refresher sessions to help with this too. We’ve had a great start to 2021 so far and are excited to see what the rest of the years brings!

Pros

I started a job at Real Time Consultants when I was considering leaving the recruitment industry after a bad experience at a large corporate agency. I had a good gut feeling in the interview stage where I met the 3 senior members of the team who made me feel relaxed and welcome. Everyone works closely together no matter what level you are and being in a small team means your opinions are always listened to and respected. Supportive encouraging management who are easy to approach with whatever questions or issues you may have. No questions are dismissed as unimportant. Although there is a relaxed, friendly team atmosphere every consultant works hard and is dedicated to doing a good job which makes it a motivating environment. In a job with long hours that can be mentally demanding at times a supportive motivational work environment is essential which Real Time provides.

Cons

Long hours Monday to Thursday which is expected in the recruitment industry but early finishes every Friday is a great benefit which not many other agencies have.
