Leaders do not perform basic responsibilities. Most behave as individual contributors and do not mentor, train, or coach their reports. Employees are treated as game pieces and moved around carelessly which negatively impacts the quality of work and morale. New hires are barely trained and supervision is lacking because leaders are busy doing design work instead of managing others.
