Pros
ROI really cares about its employees. The hourly pay is great, PTO of 15 days to start out with is above average, and the benefits package is very affordable (includes health, dental, vision, and 401k with employer match). The training that the company provides new and existing employees is unparalleled. You are given so much responsibility, which shows the company really trusts its employees, and you also have a lot of access to assistance by your co-workers whenever needed. Everyone is super friendly and so knowledgeable about the field. With the company being one of the original paid search companies in the country, we have a unique relationship with Google, Bing, and Yahoo. It gives us faster access to new features and answers to any problems we face. The office also has a fully stocked kitchen, and teams have weekly lunches.
Cons
Work-life balance can be difficult at times. Some weeks are much busier than others, so you have to be prepared to sometimes put in extra hours of work. It's sometimes hard to balance all of the needs and wants of multiple clients, plus client calls and reporting. In terms of the company, I do wish the 401k had a higher matching rate. Even though it is on par with many other companies, my previous employer matched at a higher rate.
