Pros

Great staff that are hard working. Location downtown easy to get to Most of the equipment is updated and IT works to resolve problems quickly.

Cons

Almost too many cons to list, and most have been listed on this site. First off family and friends run most of the departments. No real room to grow with the company, and even if you were given the chance to step up your salary wouldn't. Most of the day is filled with meetings that do not resolve the existing problems. Most of the departments are numbers driven and do not care about quality. No HR in house, so when you have a problem with Management it never is resolved. Staff insurance is bad and does not cover much. No work culture as no one hangs after work. All in all Accretive is a bright star that is on its way to burning out. No to mention all the allegations from Fairview.

Pros

The voluntary separation offer was good.

Cons

I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
