Pros

The work schedule and location are flexible. As a developer, the work is interesting and stimulating to such an extent that I feel like a kid in a candy shop, able to explore and create en route to solving problems.

Cons

There are so many new avenues to explore with the evolution of the product that the development team could be overwhelmed if it weren't for an excellent management culture. Management understands the need to do things correctly and to help its employees maintain a good work/life balance and therefore doesn't push for everything to be done at once.

Pros

The best part about working for Quietyme is the flexibility. There are some time restraints, as you need to accomplish your work while people are in the office; however, for the most part your schedule is flexible. Another great quality of Quietyme is that it is a Start-Up, which is very conducive to innovation and new ideas. The CEO is always open to hashing out suggestions to see if they are viable. The pay is great, and I get to work from home. I'm able to spend more time with my son because of that!

Cons

As with any new company, there are small growing pains of transforming the business model.

Pros

The management was wonderful to work for. Understanding, innovative, and sincerely interested in their employees. As a developer, the opportunity to work across the stack on both backend data processing and front-end UX and UI was exciting.

Cons

The biggest negative was the fact that I lived far away (remote employee) and rarely could get together with colleagues.
