Job security is good. Nice campus. Health benefits are good. Retirement plan is generous.
Cons
No dental plan included in medical benefits - optional plan is overpriced and not worth the money. Three year vesting period retirement plan is silly. Generally not a place where young professionals want to stay - opportunities for advancement usually require changing jobs and in some cases function. No preference given to internal candidates in 99% of cases. Functional over-specialization is rampant and counterproductive. Culture is bureaucratic, outdated and inflexible. IT organization is simply terrible - meaning their culture if focused on implementing rigid standards and keeping their cost at an absolute minimum, rather than working to maximize the value of IT investments and increase productivity and morale.
