Pros

Meet new people and ok hours

Cons

Long weeks. I have worked 7 and 8 days straight. Never get a Saturday off and very lucky if you get a Sunday off. You never know what you will be working from week to week. Lots of work and no consideration for a family. The buildings are falling apart and camera don't work. Never get recognized for anything you do. They always want more and more. They don't care about there employees because you can be replaced. If your a big boss like DM etc. Then you get great pay and weekends off. Always getting harassed by the customers. I personally have been threatened at least once a week. They don't care. In the end everything falls on your plate. I have never worked for a company that is so heartless. This is a temporary job. Don't get trapped. They make it sound good but everyone is a manager and there higher ups are from outside never within the company. So no chance to move up. If you love your family and don't want to get treated like crap on there shoe don't work here. Lots and lots of work for little pay. You must sale merchandise and push it on customers or get in trouble. They are all about money not customer service. Just a horrible company.

Pros

Public Storage is a great place to work and grow your career. I’m surrounded by talented leaders who are supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in developing their teams. The company has a strong culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, which creates an environment where employees can succeed and make an impact. What excites me most is that Public Storage is in a significant growth phase. It’s an energizing time to be part of the organization, with opportunities to contribute to meaningful initiatives, take on new challenges, and help shape the future of the business. The company continues to invest in its people, processes, and growth strategy, making it an excellent place for those who are looking to develop professionally while being part of a winning team. If you’re looking for a company with strong leadership, career advancement opportunities, and a clear vision for the future, Public Storage is a fantastic place to be.

Cons

Cons: As Public Storage continues to grow, the pace of the business can be very fast. There are often multiple initiatives, priorities, and opportunities happening simultaneously, which requires strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt quickly. Success in this environment depends on being able to effectively prioritize, manage competing demands, and stay focused on the highest-impact work. While the pace can be challenging at times, it also creates tremendous opportunities for growth, learning, and career development.

Pros

Benefits, ability to move your body if you like a workout.

Cons

Training is terrible, the trainers do not care about your ability to perform. In training we are told to contact the trainers throughout the workday to ask questions and provide guidance for work flow. One of the trainers talks down to me, doesn’t call me back and has openly told me on call “is this an emergency?” I stated no and she hung up. Unprofessional. The other trainer has completed 6 weeks of coaching through our academy and not once called me or in person coached me on anything listed throughout the coaching. Many people have quit in the short time I’ve been here.
