Pros
I've worked at 5 different offices and the word family is thrown around a lot but ProMedia embodies it. It is a family owned business and you build relationships with your colleagues. Lunch is provided daily, 401k available, they do not micromanage you in terms of work or vacation. Management is reasonable and flexible. Company outings, holiday party, spirit week, happy hours - we try to have a good time considering the amount of time we spend in the office. Salary is low at first if you are starting entry level but you can make great progress if you work hard and bring in great results. I believe Pro Media is actually paying higher salaries (post 90 days) than other south florida agencies. South Florida has low salaries overall (it's a regional issue).
Cons
Long hours at times, especially at the end of the year when everyone wants to get ready for the holidays. The environment of being a family and being taken care of is definitely a perk for the rough times that can be the quarter change or when we are short staffed. It happens everywhere but ProMedia certainly tries to alleviate the struggle as best it can. I wish the location was better but it's convenient for half of the office commutes from broward and the other half from miami. I wish it was more central in a downtown area. Also it's a blessing and a curse to have groceries/food provided - lots of snacks and you have to be mindful of stress eating during the busy times...
