Pros

If you have one of the very few high volume stores (maybe 2 or 3 out of 30 California locations), you can make descent money (and by descent, I mean average). I can't think of any other pros.....sorry....

Cons

Very unprofessional, at least from California corporate higher ups. VP cannot conduct a meeting without using foul language. No training program at all. High turnover rate. Company gets new phones too late after they come out. Corporate does not want us to sell iPhones because we don't make enough money on them, but it's our best phone and we're forced to lie to customers to try to change their minds. I was told iPhone are only to be sold if a customer wants a family deal and they are also buying another non-iphone, otherwise let them walk. Too much pressure to slam customers with "free gifts" which is basically features customers don't want but we give them for free for the first 30 days then they hopefully forget about to cancel it and we then get commission. Also, too much pressure to upsell customers on products they simply don't need. They don't care if we do it by deceptive means, just as long as we upell them. Commission structure set up as an all or nothing and with goals being so high, its usually nothing so you end up working 60+ hours a week for basically minimum wage. Almost every location is understaffed
