Pros

The pay is good for the area. Will hire people with felonies. Company acts tough on drug use but it is not enforced unless they want to control you or fire you.

Cons

There is no structure to the company. Training is minimal at best. Benefits are expensive. They only offer PTO for all attendance i.e. vacation, sick time, and inclement weather. Uniforms are offered with you paying the laundry service. $125 boots once a year but the product they make will have them destroyed inside a month. There is an abundant unidentified safety hazards that do not get fixed even when brought up with their incentive program. The upper management chooses to be blind about toxic employees and will reward good workers with more work. Roles and responsibilities of individuals are not clearly outlined or defined which leaves room for interpretation for improper delegation of tasks and abuse of power. The company wastes so much money on tools, materials and equipment because they do not have a adequate inventory or 5s program in place. Theft of personal property is a big issue as well as drugs use. High ranking employees are not sticking around either.

Pros

You get to work for a company that makes a difference. There is flexibility to help maintain a work/home balance. There are opportunities to make suggestions and work to implement more streamlined processes.

Cons

401k match is weak. No sick time. Max out 4 weeks PTO no matter how long you've been there. Definately a small time vibe and most people know each other which can lead to favortism a lot. Can be problamatic for those used to working in a more diversified setting.

Pros

4 day work weeks if you are on 1st shift Monday-Thursday. 3 day work weeks if on 3rd shift working Friday-Sunday

Cons

Pay is low. Management does not care about things that happen to you if you can’t make it to work no matter the circumstances they will point you and you can only have 10 or 12 before being fired and keep in mind if your a minute late your half pointed but no worries you can remove your half point that you got for being a minute late by working a 12 hour shift outside of your scheduled shift or wait a month without being late none to have a half or full point removed and if something happens and you are 30 minutes late you get a full point and from that perspective unless you 100% need money for that day you may as well turn around and go home because your still getting a full point even though you were 30 minutes late for a 12 hour shift
