Here comes my favorite part. Lemme start a list:
1) The BSC/MT/TSS Lounge at the office I work at is small, has very few computers, and the tech is almost always on the fritz.
2) While I am a Master's Level Clinician, I barely make enough to support myself. I am married and Heaven Forbid my wife and I have kids. She works and our two incomes would barely help raise kids. I know of other Masters Level Individuals who get paid more at other companies.
3) Insurance is expensive. Over $200 a month for just me. My wife has about the same insurance plan for about half of what I pay. YET, our insurance is supposed to have part of it covered. If I were to add my wife, my premium would double. If I had kids to add along with my wife, it would almost triple.
4) Each office in each county has different pay rates. (Let that sink in)
5) Performance reviews determine raises and that is NEVER more than 2% of what you presently make.
6) The higher-ups a corporate do not know what is going on with the staff under them.
7) The office I work at is often the LAST to get anything done as far as repairs and such. Example: My first winter at this job, I nearly slipped and fell on ice because NO ONE had come out to salt the parking lot. It was pouring rain and myself and an Out-Patient therapist did it while risking getting sick.
8) I spend most of my weekend doing progress notes since I work till 6:30 or 7 Monday through Thursday and 5 to 5:30 on Fridays. I'm exhausted when I get home and have NO TIME to spend with my wife.
9) All paperwork is either hand written or typed. If its typed, you print it off at your expense since everything has to be handed in. The binders used to house the paperwork are huge and run out of space quick.
10) I have very little free time and when I try to do self-care, I end up having to use PTO I may or may not have to take a day off.
11) The company places entirely to much emphasis on billing and not enough time on taking care of their employees. There is no 401k for new employees. The "perks" don't work (Most places have no idea that they are supposed to offer a discount). I used to go to the gym to workout, but can't do so due to having not PERSONAL TIME due to having to "bill, bill, bill". The company stopped doing any activities to let the staff just blow off steam (like company picnics and etc).
I could keep going, but I am going to stop for now and let others make their own judgement about the company.
