Pros
The people at Podium are great and the culture was solid. Flew everyone out to Utah for a week of training which was great. They used to pay for everyone that worked remotely to visit once a quarter to be around the office and culture but they have cut back on that.
Cons
Turnover in the Sales department is about 6 months. The commission they tell you AEs have made in the past is when they were selling in the enterprise space. Very few AEs selling in the SMB space come anywhere close to quota, most struggle to get to half of quota. My new hire class was the biggest they've had and the one following mine was about double. The company struggled last quarter as did the industry and they have been going through a lot of layoffs to fix their mistakes. It seems that they are looking to go public soon and they have been making a lot of changes and seem to only be worried about their bottomline.
