Pros
I enjoyed getting to know my coworkers.
Cons
I had signed on with Plus One because they promised me professional growth, flexibility, bonus incentives, etc. It appears when becoming onboarded not only is there a complete lack of organization and outdated systems, there is a huge disconnect from their “leadership team” to employee or manager. I felt undervalued, that my ideas were not heard, and that the job that was “sold” to me was not the reality. In addition the process to get anything approved is lengthy, disorganized, and seemed like a lost cause. Aside from these issues, I had to exit the position and company due to personal and medical reasons. I requested multiple times to work from home to make things work and was left with vague and incomplete answers. While sick and dealing with needing to go to the doctor, I couldn’t leave work because I was “needed” by the company. In addition to that, Plus One asked me to write a check for almost half of what my salary was, to compensate for the 5 days of PTO I took and discussed with my team and got cleared before I started the position. This company does not only put their corporate monetary wants before the physical and mental well-being of its employees, but also does not hold integrity as a value. It’s clear this company is disorganized, has a large gap between high level and entry level or management level employees, and appears to be scrambled and cold hearted. I would not recommend taking a job here and have been in a very sticky position since leaving. I am disappointed in the lack of integrity in this company and suggest to look into opportunities that aren’t power and money hungry.
