Pros

If you want to enter into the stunt industry, this is A Place you can learn those skills without having to pay for it.

Cons

Considering that their insurance is terrible, it turns semi dangerous stunt work into extremely dangerous stunt work. A rope swing in itself is not that dangerous. But, on the off off chance that something goes wrong, if you are stuck hanging from a rope for 12 minutes while your arm is slowly popped out of it's socket, then it is extremely dangerous. Especially considering that the insurance isn't good enough to cover that permanent pain and problem the rest of your life. (That means, no more stunts for you, and you will have mobility problems with that arm forever.) The manager, Julio, is squarely to blame. In his efforts to cut spending, sadly, safety checks were one of the first things to go. So, understand this: You are risking your future working at this establishment. Too many former employees are permanently affected by disability or pain due to the lack of spending on insurance and safety. Ask around within the stunt community, and you will hear the horror stories not listed here. Twenty years ago, when Pirates started, they had industry professionals in charge. Now, it is a restaurant manager. Would you trust a restaurant manager with your safety as a stunt man?
