Pros
High earning potential.
Easy hiring process. Few qualifications required, but experience is a plus.
Great coworkers, as many know each other (friends/family) or from previous workplaces.
Cons
Open on Sundays (most dealerships are not)
Bonuses can be forfeit due to bad survey scores. A bonus can be as much as thousands per month, or even more if you are a master con artist. With bonus, you can be in the six figure range, but with unfortunate survey scores, you make less than half of that. If a customer complains about not getting a car wash (due to mandatory California water restrictions) and you get a bad score, you can kiss your bonus goodbye. The bonus goes directly to upper management.
Gross profit is the utmost priority, above even employee and customer satisfaction.
Big producers are given favorable treatment - scheduling, sales/service opportunities, other accommodations
You may be asked to come in to work on your day off, but forbidden to clock in. If you do clock in, your schedule is adjusted so you do not receive OT. This is ILLEGAL.
