Shockingly bad company to work for and they have the turnover to support it. On average, more than one employee per month has left the company in the last two years. Many have left without having a new role to go to, so in other words, leaving solely as they wish to get away from the company. Many have had to get solicitors involved and there have also been settlements, as promises of specific salaries were not fulfilled or as the company used bullying and blackmail tactics to try to get their way. The work culture is extremely toxic and (some) line managers are extremely toxic and speak badly about not only external stakeholders, but even the company's senior management and even "the family" (the company owners). Words like "moron", "idiots" and "weirdos" are frequently used, and sometimes in whispers after they have just spoken to senior management or the director. This is not to say that the senior management themselves aren't also at fault, they are. Many line managers know less in their roles than their direct reports and are incompetent.
I really hope that the management in this company will eventually listen to the criticisms so many current and ex employees have raised, in order to achieve a better work environment. They should start by trying to actually care about their employees. For us employees who are still left, most desperately want to leave.
