Pros

They're very lucky to have a handful of people working for them that are truly lovely. Emphasis on 'handful'

Cons

Unsure where to start..... - If you're looking for job security, this isn't the place for you. One minute you're flying, getting praised and feel really valued, the next minute you're 'let go' with 0 notice and no reason. No feedback given, no opportunity to work your notice and hand over to colleagues. I had a huge client text me because my emails weren't being delivered....because they'd immediately deleted my gmail account - incredibly unprofessional and an awkward position to be put in. If you've got bills to pay and a family to support, I encourage you to avoid this company like the plague. HR dealt with this incredibly badly too. - For a company that works in the Diversity and Inclusion space, they're not very inclusive or diverse. It's actually funny how opposing they are of this. Difficult when you're talking to clients about the service and how it can help achieve their D&I objectives when near enough none (weren't any when I was there) of the practitioners are POC, queer, non-binary, trans etc. - I was one of the 23 people to loose their job with immediate effect. I was on holiday, and they fired me over a 3 minute phone call. Can I add, I'd taken my laptop on holiday because I was too afraid of not hitting my target and missing opportunities. I was literally sat at my laptop, talking to clients, when I got the call. - 0 work-life balance. Their product prevents burn out, but they're quite happy for their staff to be pulling all hours to hit their quota and complete work that's not within their job remit - Trying to grow too fast. Soon to launch both in the US and internationally and the product/team aren't ready for it. - Fake, cliquey culture. One minute you're flavour of the week, the next they're hiring new people who make you feel ostracised and like you're not good at your job. Very direct, personal comments are made about your character, making it a toxic place to work. - They promise you the world but don't deliver. Their strap line is "supporting people in the moments that matter" but that couldn't be further from the truth. Complete hypocrisy - Very good at appearing like they're successful and are one of the top places to work, but really, their data isn't very good which makes pitching difficult and they're clearly going through some financial issues as they had to sack 23 people on the spot. Not only this, but they then re-advertised for multiple roles 3 weeks later.... imagine how that feels to see your role become available again. Something fishy's going on here.... - No structure from senior management which made it very hard to hit target, and when you try to ask for more help/seek advice in areas that you can improve, you're threatened with a PIP - New hires in management aren't nice/knowledgeable of their role which makes your workload difficult to complete because they're all over the shop dictating this and that - The company delete negative glassdoor reviews to make themselves look better - watch out for this! They also ask their employees to write fake positive reviews. Complete unauthentic behaviour. - Underpaid in our last wage - promised they'd look after us and not short change us, but deducted a HUGE amount for the days we could've worked our notice but weren't able to. Again, just another immoral stab in the back. Whole heartedly let down by Peppy. They're not the company that they appear to be on paper, and you unfortunately have to be let go/bullied by one of the founders to see them for what they really are. Couldn't advise not working here more.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I can see that you are a former employee, which indicates you might have been let go in our recent headcount reductions. Alongside other tech companies, we've had to review our financial profile and we were very sad to let go approximately 10% of our team in late August. Before that time, we had an average GlassDoor rating of 4.7 built up over 3 years. We also published our employee engagement survey in July prior to the headcount reductions [link below]. Our positive results showed that 92% of employees wouldn’t leave Peppy, 94% of employees believe in Peppy’s mission and 84% of employees feel cared for at Peppy. In addition, our 0.6% average of voluntary leavers indicates that we very rarely see team members leave, either before or after the headcount reductions. Our focus is to continue making Peppy a great place to work for our current and future employees and to provide essential healthcare service for our users; services like menopause that they can’t get anywhere else. We wish you all the best in your future. Source: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/getpeppy_engagement-survey-results-activity-6957635361640456193-Wj4J/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop

Pros

Cohesive team with a truly collaborative culture Brilliant mission that makes the work feel meaningful Strong leadership- Mridula returning as CEO has been a game-changer, there are plenty of opportunities for professional growth and development, it is a supportive environment where ideas are welcomed and acted on

Cons

Pace can be fast and priorities shift quickly- not for those who prefer predictability. Growing pains that come with scaling, but leadership is tackling them.

Pros

- Peppy is a mission led business with very ambitious goals and it is truly exciting to be able to contribute to those goals. - Great People - this goes hand in hand with being mission led. The people of Peppy are all very passionate about the support the business provides which has made the internal environment and culture extremely positive. - Collaborative Environment - you will have the opportunity to work with a lot of different team members as well as the co-founders, on a daily basis. - High Growth - rapid growth of the business has allowed employees to grow within their own teams and even start and lead new teams. - Ever Evolving - new clients and employees join the business on a monthly basis so there is always something (or someone) new to get to know! I have been in the startup space for my entire career and Peppy has been the best business I have ever worked for. The mission is incredible, the co-founders are down to earth and the growth potential for Peppy is not only tremendous, but inevitable. I am so happy to have found a mission led business to work for, it has made my days much more fulfilling and given me a true purpose in my work.

Cons

I have not found a con since I joined Peppy!
