Pros

- success means more pets get the care they need - fully remote - full team retreats nearly every quarter - high growth startup making big waves - loved by the vet industry - 401k contribution - health/vision/dental insurance

Cons

- remote life can get a bit lonely - startup environment means we're building SOP documentation for most tasks for the first time - being flexible and wearing more than one hat at times is necessary, and can feel distracting

Pros

Pawlicy is filled with a lot of great people that work hard to serve pet parents and veterinarian teams. The work is interesting because you get to directly make an impact on the trajectory of the company. Which offers a lot of opportunities to learn and give input. I love that it's a remote company and there's opportunities to do offsites on occasion to build bonds with team members. There's a lot of passionate folks that you can learn from.

Cons

It is a startup so expect to adapt quickly for the waves of changes that occur. You'll need wear different hats as you go but that offers an opportunity to learn and dabble in things you're interested.

Pros

Pawlicy is a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. People are amazingly nice and help a lot in navigating the complexities of insurance companies. Everybody loves pets so that's a huge plus. Really recommend the place if you're into insurances and pets!

Cons

The company is always on the move. People come and go pretty quickly. There is a high turnover and although that's normal for any startup here it's even more common has many who enter the company come from slower-paced insurance backgrounds. If you're searching for something super stable this is probably not the place. But as I said this goes with any startup. Here it's just a little bit more intense.
