Pros

Cool benefits that make you think your low salary is evened out, until you remember your RSUs are just funny money with a company that is a long way from IPO

Cons

Inexperienced leadership that is more worried about looking cool than following through with the company's mission. Not original. Ideas are copied and executed sub-par. Lack of organization from the top funnels down and IC's carry the brunt of the downfall. IC's aren't the ones to blame for inexperienced leaders and lack of communication that leaves you guessing what should be done. Work-life balance is a lie. Yes, work happens from 9-6, but be prepared to work in a very stressful situation with no breaks just to have your work scrapped last minute and have to be redone. Get it together.

Pros

- Strong, meaningful mission that is genuinely motivating. - Great benefits and a great workspace. - Talented, driven colleagues across teams. - Reasonable compensation for non-technical roles.

Cons

- The CEO is deeply involved in most decisions, slowing execution and limiting team autonomy. - Inexperienced executives resulting in inconsistent strategy, execution gaps, and unclear accountability. - High leadership turnover and repeated layoffs, creating instability and eroding trust across the organization. - Lack of direct, timely feedback outside formal cycles, leading to surprises and low psychological safety. - Lack of strategic focus and frequent priority shifts to chase competitors instead of following a clear, long-term roadmap. - Decisions often driven by the loudest voices or “vibes” rather than evidence and clear metrics. - Poor work-life balance contributing to burnout.
