Pros

Flexibility, independence-- I've worked a lot of case management jobs and by far this one has the least amount of oversight/requirements

Cons

No oversight- I haven't even met my "supervisor" in person Fee for service-- don't let the good hourly rate fool you, you'll never get a full 40 hours without committing insurance fraud, which this structure essentially encourages you to do. No support from management-- you'll feel totally alone No mileage reimbursement Up until recently they wanted us to do work on personal computers but after staff constantly requesting work computers they are now instead providing iPads for clinical documentation???

Staff care about the clients

Cons

Constant changes to roles, pay structure, policies, procedures. Lack of support to properly do the work. Leadership doesn't care about staff or the clients, only numbers and money. They are punitive and will take things such as holiday pay unless you meet unrealistic metrics. They say they are open to feedback but if you disagree you end up being pushed out
