Pros

The training is comprehensive and the trainer was a good person. It was fun to work with a good amount of people your age that care about children too. The best and main thing was the clients, they will steal your heart.

Cons

The last I heard from a friend who still works there they dropped the starting pay to $13.00. The will ask you to claim you are working 1:1 with clients when you are actually scheduled with 2-3 at a time, but hey whatever pays the CEO right?! Management has a hard time hearing employee concerns as upper management doesn't ever meet their employees. Floor staff management blames their employees for his/her mistakes. They tell you there is movement in the company but when there are only 4 positions and one of them was created about a year ago. If you are one of the few that receive a promotion your raise will still be minimal. It's a great program for the kids because the employees that stay more then a minimal amount of time do it because they love the kids. Looking back I can't fathom how I stayed with how Partners treats its employees.

Thank you for your commitment to our families and children at Partners in Excellence. We are thrilled to hear confirmation that our training program is comprehensive and understand how important this is. We value each of our clients and staff and are happy to hear you made some close connections while you were employed at Partners in Excellence. Although the nature of an employee’s individual pay is always confidential, we can assure you the starting pay was not decreased, but is actually very competitive for a Mental Health Practitioner in the state of Minnesota. We also proudly maintain that all of our early learning Pods are a 1:1 Child/staff ratio, and the ratio is a 2/3:1 only when the child is ready for less support. We hope that you know that we value and consider all feedback and are always looking for ways to improve. As the company has grown, (over 200 employees), it has been more difficult for me to get to know everyone as well as when we were a smaller company. Through our staff meetings, resource nights, and company gatherings, I do my best to connect on a personal level with as many employees as possible. If you would like to share more about your experience, please contact me by emailing Dthomas@pieofmn.com so that we can set up a time to talk. Thank you again for your feedback as it helps to make Partners in Excellence a better place. Sincerely, Deb Thomas Owner & CEO
