Pros
It was a paycheck until I could get another contract somewhere else
Cons
I have worked with quite a few consulting firms over the years and the staff I worked most closely with at at Celgene are the most UNprofessional people I have had the misfortune of working with. I was told the position would be full-time, then it was part-time, then after being told that most contracts were long term after 5 months it was over. The onboarding process was the worst. Nobody seemed to be invested in showing me anything in order for me to succeed. I was heavily dependent upon staff from other firms to show me what I needed to learn. I was assigned to support a person with a reputation for being difficult. I heard through the rumor mill that this person was maligning me (as they did everyone) and no one from Paragon EVER stepped in to resolve the matter. Training is NON existent My nickname for the on-site Team Leader was miscellaneous as I couldn't figure out what purpose they served whatsoever.
