Pros
Panera has the potential to be a good place to work. You get over a 50% discount, and you can get a lot of hours. They also donate their bakery products to charity at the end of the day, which I appreciated. They also seem to hire very easy.
Cons
The store I worked at had poor management. I was lied to about what they were hiring me to do, and they completely ignored my availability and expected me to comply. I'm a full time student, and they were working me so much that I fell behind in school. When I mentioned this, they didn't care. When they found out I was looking for a new job they begged me to stay, told me they would fix things, but never did. When I left they tried to say they fired me. I worked there for a short time, but I breezed through sandwich, salad, soup, and barista certifications within a month because they promised me raises for each of them. I then found out they lied about that, too.
