Pros

Monthly variable comp, high pay potential but comes with constant pressure Hires externals off their internal desk Gives young wholesalers a shot - a good stepping stone but not a "forever home" Quarterly sales meetings that help refine skills. These are also held on random weekends from Thursday - Sunday and often require travel with overnight stays Good fund lineup & good material to present funds

Cons

Micromanagement: 5 meetings/day minimum, 30+ outbound phone calls daily, detailed monitoring of your phone logs (work-provided phone) and calendars - if you do not have a good calendar you will hear about it. Poor ETF flow tracking - firm does not pay for data packs 6-month clawbacks on all ETF inflows Each territory vastly different, including pay - stay away from Independent B territories

Pros

The company will hire you if you don’t have other options.

Cons

Leadership are the most disgusting, unprofessional, disrespectful people in the industry. Wholesalers are peasants to be berated, bullied, and put-down down by leaders who think motivation is done through threats and insults. You will be given no autonomy and every minute of your day will be micromanaged. Regional managers serve no purpose other than micromanagement and making you hate your life. Leadership demands client entertainment but does not give budgets and wholesalers are forced to foot the bill for basic company needs. There is no opportunity for career growth.
