Pros

Really none other than benefits

Cons

Terrible management, horrible culture, top local management has an anger problem, some corrupt dept leaders, lots of fear. No value for diversity - and still making tasteless jokes about women and disadvantaged groups.

Pros

Good benefits, central downtown location, has historically been very stable (although the business has been faltering lately), nearly impossible to lose your job based on performance.

Cons

Management has been exceptionally stable, none of them leave for new opportunities probably because they realize that no one else is going to hire this executive team at anywhere near the same level or pay grade. EXTREMELY hierarchical. New ideas or thinking is discouraged. If you are a Millenial, avoid at all costs. Your opinions and input are not welcome. Senior management sticks together in their offices and will occasionally grant lower level employees an "audience", but only after your presentation has been screened multiple times through multiple layers of management. This is the place that creativity goes to die, and now the business is faltering (although you'll never get a good read on business performance from management).
