I applied for a virtual position as Lead Corporate Agent. After multiple interviews I was given a job offer as virtual travel specialist for a dedicated account. I was told this account needed "high-touch" service, also, as I learned there was a "problem" with the account. The owner of the company mentioned he'd like to see me stay with his company for ten years, while the director mentioned if it didn't work out with the account I would be reassigned. The account was extremely difficult. There were no set guidelines or limitations defining the relationship between the TMC and account. Anything you offered or worked on was "unacceptable" and account administrators were nit pickers. The best way to describe this account is a night mare. To make a long story short, I was terminated from the position because I was not a "good fit" for the account. I left my previous company with the hope of having a long-term job and I was short changed.
