Pros
Ooni has the benefit of being led by two genuinely lovely and considerate people. It is clear in any interaction with Darina or Kristian (or any of the exec team) that they want the best for the company and their employees. You can see this permeate the culture throughout the wider team: - Flexibility from managers to allow for family commitments is always there. - Care packages and gifts are sent when employees are ill or have gone through a tough time. - Encouragement to have coffee catch ups and form good working relationships/friendships on a monthly basis. - Office spaces that are constantly being worked on so that they are enjoyable and attractive places to be. - The benefits are amazing and ever growing. It's easy to forget when you're working there that the following perks are uniquely generous: half days on a Friday, access to free ingredients and pizza every day, coffee on tap, discount codes and store credits etc No company is perfect, but if you can work in a business where the leaders care about who you are as a person, you're doing pretty well.
Cons
Right now there are some realities that need to be faced: We are no longer in a phase of rapid growth and constant success. We're building a company that is sustainable which means that sometimes we have to do the boring and difficult things to set us up longer term.
