Reputable hospitality group with tremendous restaurants; you get a great discount at all establishments when you are an employee. The Chef leaders are very intelligent and do amazing work.
Cons
CEO and HR Leadership are extremely out of touch with the day to day life of anyone working in the restaurants or at events. They are unwilling to listen to hourly staff or extend hospitality to them when people want to share complaints and feedback- anyone who brings up obstacles they experience to ask for help is often blamed for the obstacle, and not offered assistance. The CEO is regularly verbally degrading- she condescends and insults anyone she disagrees with, and seems to enjoy putting people down. It was described by multiple team members as a humiliation ritual. Corporate office environment feels very much like everyone is walking on eggshells- it is a very stressed out, unhappy office environment. The HR Leader is closely connected with the CEO from a previous job, so the idea of HR being a safe place is in 0% way true.
