Pros

I certainly got my exercise working at Omnitrak. But that is the ONLY pro that I can think of.

Cons

First. Every e-mail correspondence I got from my boss ended with the phrase, "If you have any questions, please feel free to ask." I had several questions but I soon found out Omnitrak isn't all that serious about answering employees' questions. Second. I was fired for no good reason. I had injured my foot during my COVID furlough. Omnitrak asked if employees could return to work in August. They needed a reply from me by July 17th. I had a doctor's appointment July 17th. I was not completely healed and I wanted to get my doctor's advice first before making a decision. I asked for more time to reply. But Omnitrak's reply was insensitive and rude. "Please return all unused surveys, parking passes, uniforms, etc..."

Pros

The hiring process is easy. Fill in application at the office and get an interview with Alan Ellis, Executive VP. You'll be asked to read from a script. And be professional and polite. The training is very easy to understand. It's done on paper first in the conference room. We all sit together as a group and after Alan reads it once we all take turns reading the paper script so we can see how the survey will work. Great entry-level job for somebody with little experience.

Cons

Only part-time. Not any room for advancement. The shifts can get cancelled especially night shifts if we're lower on work. The pay isn't great. Starts at $9.25 HR.
