Pros

If you are lucky to be placed in a great team, your colleagues will be happy to assist. Management tries to be as transparent as possible.

Cons

The customers make it difficult to enjoy supporting them because they continue to have unrealistic expectations, which seem to be encouraged by their AEs/CSMs. Engineering is VERY slow on developing fixes, which puts you in the line of fire with customer complaints for broken components. It feels like you are rewarded for being a good Support Engineer by not being promoted out of Support if that's the desire.

Pros

Great Benefits. Fantastic product. Company is scaling (or at least trying to).

Cons

Management and company culture has grown toxic. Extremely political and dramatic. Specifically in sales, marketing, and the C-Suite. I wouldn’t recommend joining okta unless you are some type of director or above and also remote. SF just RTO’d and it’s been miserable.
