Pros
The technicians help each other out.
Cons
Many technicians seem to be on the verge of burn out. Workload on an ordinary day can be grueling with impractical expectations depending on which position you end up. This is made worse by being understaffed. Management can't seem to find qualified workers willing to accept the job. Demoralizing to see new hires decide this line of work is not for them. We are told take we definitely get a 30 minute break and then maybe a 15 minute break if conditions allow. A 30 minute lunch break feels inadequate. Frequently, workers will claim they took their lunch break but will not actually take the break so they don't fall behind. Ask about "batter up." They don't tell you during your interview that you might be involuntarily asked to work a different shift than your own.
