Pros
Interesting work with lots of very bright people, most colleagues are supportive and helpful. Salaries and benefits are very good, and you get a lot of autonomy and a good work-life balance.
Cons
Going through a difficult period at the moment. The CEO gives the impression she is only interested in self-promotion rather than actually helping the organisation. She has run up our overheads so technical staff are under increasing pressure to deliver more in less time. Meanwhile despite numerous initiatives that come to nothing, our internal processes are increasingly disorganised and inefficient. Lots of talk of good management with little evidence of it in practice.
