Pros
Friendly co-workers, kitchen staff. Never felt understaffed and constantly had enough help. If I asked early enough I could always get covered.
Cons
Unattractive uniforms; at most restaurants, hostesses are able to wear normal clothing, but at Opa, it was hard to differentiate between waitstaff and hostesses. The uniform was black pants and a collared black shirt. This led to confusion among customers, who sometimes got angry that we weren't servicing them as waiters, and I definitely think that it would have been a better experience to be greeted by hostesses wearing attractive clothing. The manager was good but also didn't give me feedback on how I was doing. I sometimes felt like I did something wrong and would be punished for it by getting less shifts, but he did not directly send me an email.
