Pros
The UX team at Nous is genuinely one of the better parts of working here. The Practice Head creates an environment where you are trusted to own your work, which makes a real difference when you are still growing as a designer. There is room to ask questions, push back on decisions, and think through problems properly rather than just executing briefs. The projects are substantial. I had the opportunity to work on a large scale enterprise redesign that gave me real exposure to user research, usability testing, and cross-functional collaboration with developers and business analysts. That kind of experience is not easy to find early in your career. The team itself is collaborative and easy to work with. People are willing to share knowledge and the overall culture within the UX practice is healthy. If you are looking for a place to build your foundational UX skills on real projects with good mentorship, the UX department at Nous is worth considering.
Cons
Compensation could be more competitive, especially given the market rate for UX roles. Work from office policy has also been a point of friction for many.
